   My fear friend Jenna Rammell sent a pair all the way to Indiana for my son. I was instantly obsessed with my gray moccasins. Finn literally wears them everyday. I love them because in the dead of winter I can put his chunby piggies in them without socks and his feet stay nice and warm. I also don't mind that I get compliments constantly on them. I was highly impressed with how well the leather has held up considering I find my son with them in his mouth. Apparently they taste good too!

    What makes your mocks unique and the reasons I love them, one handmade in the United States! Having a hand made American product is hard I come by and I always support local companies. The colors wow the colors are so brilliant. They would go with anything and can be worn all year. I would just love to be able to have my son rock a few pairs of these amazingly hand crafted mocks. James usually sports a pair in almost every post. Today Freshly Picked is asking fans- What makes these moccasins so unique? Here's my answer(s)... 1. What other business owner would host such a generous giveaway to her fans? I think we can all agree that giving away $500 sets Freshly Picked apart. 2. These moccasins were the only thing that fit my sons chubby baby feet when he was off the charts in cute baby fat. They still fit him now that he's thinner out like crazy. Most shoes just don't do that. 3. Freshly Picked has seen the world with us. Disney World, the east coast, back to the West coast.. Everywhere we go, our moccs are sure to follow. These colorful gems can take a beating, too. My son is one active little boy and they've come home from playgrounds and theme parks just as fresh and clean as ever. 4.     Freshly picked moccasins are by FAR my favorite baby shoes for my little, Maddox, for a million reasons! 1) The elastic is WONDERFUL to fit all different types of baby feet from skinny to chubby. They are so easy to get on and NEVER fall off! 2) the fringe give them the moccasins look that is so darn cute & super trendy. 3) They are the only shoe I've seen that can actually look BETTER after some wear & tear. I come from a sentimental family. I grew up looking through my moms cedar chest that her dad had made her. Her chest was filled with not only her treasured items from her childhood, but mine and my brother's and sister's clothes. I was so excited for the moment when my mom passed down those items to me. Now that I have my own little one, it has been important to me to select sentimental items for her. These will be the items I hope she holds onto and cherishes for years to come. So much so, that she hands them down to her children. This past Christmas I came across the most darling and perfect pair of moccasins I have ever seen. I being half Navajo have had a huge space in my heart for traditional items. I lost my dad over seven years ago. He was born on the indian reservation. He and his siblings would dance to raise money for their family. My grandmother would hand weave rugs on her loom and my uncles would make jewlery. This was their livelihood. They were the first of hand crafted items in our family. My dad bought each one of us children one of my grandmothers rugs. I could't wait for the day to graduate college so that I could pick out my rug. He also bought me my very own turquoise bracelet that my uncle made me. I grew up wearing and loving that bracelet. We went back to the reservation and got Penelope her very own. I knew that she needed a pair of moccasins to match. I ordered her a pair for her first Christmas and was giddy with excitement everyday until they came in the mail. I am still giddy every time I put them on her. These moccs are not just any ordinary pair of moccasins. They have the most unique look to them. They are perfect in every detail, from their look and cut of front fringe, as well as fringe around the collar. They are so comfortable on those chubby baby feet and fit snug. They come in an array of ravishing colors that adorn any outfit. They look adorable on both girls and boys. They come in the most fantastic and most genuine of leather. I always have people complimenting Penelope's. They make the perfect shower gift and brighten so many people's days. I hope that Penelope will always remember her grandfather and where her strong roots come from. I hope she will pass down her bracelet, my rug, and her moccs to her children.     What makes FP moccs so unique hmm where do I begin... First off, my boyfriend has a completely different style taste than I (He buys my daughter nothing but Jordan's) Then we came across your moccs and he fell in love with them just as much as I did!! He immediately ordered 2 pairs when you released the winter colors. The hardest part was choosing the colors and waiting patiently for the 10 days to pass by! (I was also a part of those mama's that unintentionally crashed Brickyard Buffalo in hopes of scoring some special edition colors, boyfriend and I were refreshing like maniacs till 3 am!) ((I ended up sleeping 2 hrs and managed to get no moccs. Better luck thursday!!) We absolutely NEEEEED Copper in our stash. (some) of my favorite highlights of the moccs: 1|| I love just how soft the leather is. (Both inside and outside) I know her little feet are always nice and comfortable in there. 2|| The unique design, fringes and amazing color selection! 3|| I (like most mama's) LOVE supporting other mama's small businesses.
