DIY Club

5.26 2010

Our last DIY club project was elastic waist skirts. I think almost everyone went home with a finished skirt. It was a little madness because more people than usual came. Amy had the foresight to bring her camera + snap these shots.

Caroline’s skirt was prol’ my fave. I love the striped elastic that she found at Mood.

    I need info on this Club! (and the skirts!!) I think it would be a neat idea to start one where I live in Oklahoma. Do you just do sewing or do you do other DIY projects? If you wouldn't mind e-mailing me what you do, how you got started, that would be great!

    Yep, I'm one of those people that doesn't know anyone that sews. I got all excited when one of my friends started talking about her sewing machine, but it's many months past and I think that she still has it in a box in the garage. Short of stalking people seen in the fabric store, I think I'll have to settle for reading blogs...
