  1. Jennifer :
I just wanted to post and say that right now, as I sit here and type this, I am wearing a skirt that I made with YOUR tutorial! I need to take a picture and upload it so I can share it...but you did a wonderful job on the tutorial - even a semi-beginner sewer like me could understand and follow it.

Now I have to try the covered elastic option!
  2. Melanie :
I really need to add the skirts I've made with your tutorial to your flikr, too. I can't believe I still haven't gotten around to it.

    Tania did a wonderful job!

Tania did an awesome job!! And I would imagine this could be pretty adabtable to making the elastic cover out of a different tube of fabric (cut the same length as the top of the skirt) which is then sewn to the top of the skirt (right sides together) and THEN fed the elastic through!!!

Good because 1)my machine is not so much a fan of the sewing through elastic 2)my fingers are even less of a fan of stabbing myself and 3)the elastic I can find here inside Chi-town leave much to be desired in color and looks
  4. Sophia :
I have given you an award because I think you are fabulous:

This could not be more timely. I made your skirt last night in a springy little fabric, but wanted to try one with the elastic covered! I'll try this for my next skirt, I plan on wearing only skirts this summer. Thanks!
