Sewing Summit

Great Speakers

Adorable conference organizers.

Good food, down time in my room.

Sewing room sponsored by Baby Lock.

I attended Sewing Summit this past weekend in Salt Lake City. The whole summit was amazing, It took place in downtown Salt Lake at the Little America.  Amy and Erin, the summit organizers put together a top notch summit, full of useful information, great classes, first class speakers and even a sewing room that you could use until 1:00 AM. Basically how late you sew/blog at home, but this time you get to do it with your friends!

Also, let me say that if you’ve never attended a conference, you absolutely must. I left the Sewing Summit feeling totally inspired and excited about blogging and sewing again, that is what conferences do– inspire and excite you. I loved meeting all of these amazing online people in real life, putting names to faces and really getting to know people. Even if you feel like you know everything there is to know about sewing and blogging, I would recommend attending. Also, great news! There will be a Sewing Summit 2012, so watch their blog, twitter and facebook for more details about it. I will be attending for sure.

Hi Susan, it was so great meeting you at the sewing summit. I'm still admiring your leather business card case!

Susan, It was very fun to see you at the SS. I'm still disappointed that my class was at the same time as yours because I am in desperate need of some zipper help. Glad to know you'll be there again next year!
