Freezer Meal Help

This post is sponsored by Kraft Cheese, make something amazing for dinner.

Friends, I need your help. With school starting back up and Christmas around the corner, (it is, you watch!) I’ve been struggling with dinner time. I want to have quick easy, nutritious and healthy meals. Too much to ask?

I’ve decided that I’m going to either do freezer meals or crockpot meals. So my question is, do you have any good links or recipes for freezer meals? Also, anyone in Utah county want to have a freezer meal making party?

Best of luck with the shop. I am will be stopping by as soon as my baby will be ready for his first shoe. As for the easy meals, if your concern is the lack of time, i would suggest for you to consider pressure cooker rather than a crackpot.

Hi Susan, Great meeting you at altnyc this week. You're so right the holidays will be here before we know it. This is my favorite make ahead recipe for fall, chicken mushroom lasagna rolls: http://www.loloevents.net/chicken-and-mushrooms-lasagna-rolls/. Search by "make ahead" on my blog and there's a lot more. Safe travels back to Utah Best, Lo

My mum is a freezer meal expert (studying for a degree when you have 4 kids does that to you lol), I'll ask her for you xx

This might help some http://kojo-designs.com/2012/04/getting-organized-a-whole-months-worth-of-meals-via-crockpot-freezer-cooking/ Also I brown beef and add spaghetti sauce, or rotel with taco seasons and keep them in my freezer so I can thaw it and add noodles or add salad or taco salad, tacos, and homemade chili. Best of luck!
    • Susan :
thank you, angela! that does help.

Jamie Oliver Food Revolution -- best cookbook for people with little money and little time to spend on cookin'. It takes 2-3 recipes to get a hang of his style, but seriously, everything i've made has been super tasty -- cauliflower mac and cheese, rogan josh curry (with homemade curry paste yum!), roast chicken, lasagna -- and most, if not all, freeze really well. Highly recommended.
    • Susan :
awesome, adele. thank you for your suggestions. we're doing freezer meals this saturday.

Dude! Did you already do a freezer meal party? I'm SO down. I'm not a domestic person at all, but I really need to get on this boat. Even if we each made a couple and switched that would ROCK. Let me know!
