Best Practice: Podcasts on Stitcher Smart Radio App

Stitcher is one of my favorite apps for the IPhone. I listen to a lot of podcasts and books. Before I found Stitcher I would have to sync my phone to get new podcasts and they would be stored in my ITunes taking up memory. Now I just use Stitcher, you can listen from anywhere without having to sync. Sticher is basically radio on demand or DVR for your radio.

Begin by searching for your favorite podcasts, or exploring podcasts by what you are interested in.

Stitcher organizes your podcasts into ‘my stations’, the red nine is telling me that I have nine new podcasts to listen to.

Click on my stations and start listening, easy as that. Starting with the latest podcast, Stitcher plays through all of your podcasts.

Podcasts that I am currently subscribed to:
Blogging Project Runway
Radiolab
The Moth
Planet Money
Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me
On the Media
This American Life
Fresh Air
Frekonomics

What podcasts do you listen/subscribe to? I’d love to add some new podcasts to the rotation. Also, do you use Stitcher?

I like freakanomics & we listen to wait wait in the car- it's always on for some reason when we're in the car over the weekends- happy coincidence? ;)

This is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing. Usually I travel I have to find a Starbucks or free wifi zone, and wait to download. My favorites appear to be the same as yours!

We share a lot of the same favorite podcasts. I highly recommend the Tobolowsky Files, in which a character actor (a Hey-It's-That-Guy! guy) shares firsthand stories about life, love and the entertainment industry. I fell in love with an episode around podcast 30 and had to download and devour the entire catalog. He's a great storyteller with profound humor, wisdom and kindness. Love it a lot. :)
