Best Practice: How to Fold a Fitted Sheet

I shared this video a couple of months ago on Babble, but I thought I would share it here as well. Anyone else getting the fall purge your house urge? I feel like I’m organizing closets and underneath sinks and I’m throwing out everything! I always get this way in the spring and in the fall. Do you?

What. You are telling me that rolled up in a wrinkly ball with someone's sock and your husband's favorite boxers(you know..the ones you like to sleep in)trapped inside & stuffed in the closet next to the mix match hand towels and bastard crafting supplies is the WRONG way to fold a fitted sheet?total mind screw Susan!my day is ruined.

I used to fold my fitted sheets like this. I now fold them into quarters (the long way) along with the flat sheet and then roll them up together. Nice neat cylinder sausage :)

Isn't it funny that we want to purge in spring and fall? What is it about those two seasons? I'm going through the same thing here myself. I love tutorials on folding fitted sheets. I always forget by the time I have to fold the next one haha. Thanks!

I've seen different people try to explain how they got the nice little package of a fitted sheet. This is BY FAR the BEST and SIMPLEST explanation of this technique!

    THE BEST!

I saw Martha Stewart do this years ago and I've practiced this technique ever since. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside every time I fold one up. :)
