If you follow Alison or I on Instagram, then you’re already excited (READ: annoyed) about #ourtopsecretproject. We’ve been working night and day – day and night on it and will hopefully wrap the project in a couple weeks and then I’ll be able to share all the details with you soon.
The hard and exciting thing about top secret projects is that the time spent between working on them and the time that they launch is drawn out. And right now friends I’m tired, Alison can barely stand me – she’s been screening my calls for weeks now, my house is a mess, my kids look at me with a vague recognition – are you my mother?, my creativity has been zapped and we’re about 1/2 way to the finish. I’m not complaining at all, I love being busy and this kind of work excites me… it’s just long.
I need a vacation. And not just any vacation, but – the type where you don’t have cell service vay.cay.chun . I have a count down from now until December 19th, (the last shipping day before Christmas) because that is the day that I’m taking my vacation.
