Notes From the Med

Dear Susan,

 

How are you this week?  We really need to get a better time to talk to each other.  I really miss our daily chats.

 

This week while window shopping in our local mall, I couldn’ t help notice all the fall clothes everywhere. It seems a little premature to me, but who am I to judge, especially when you see such cute things? One of my favorite kids store here is called Kiddie’s Class. It is the kids store for Zara, a spanish clothing company. The baby clothes are enough to make me want to have another baby.  The clothes themself are a bit more expensive, but I am happy just buying a few accessories every know and then and shopping the sales. 

 

I sent the kids in to tell me some things that they liked for me for fall and immediately the fur vest was found, isn’t it awesome with that skinny belt.  I love this store.

   Oh I LOVE Zara!!! Don't worry, last time I googled locations for it in the U.S. I found the closest one in Costa Mesa (Orange County), CA. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the clothes there. My favorite thing to do while in Portugal, right next door to Spain, while on my mission, was shop there on P. days. We'd forgo eating and buying gas to heat our water and work our stove just to buy a cute skirt or dress from there every now and then. Tell your sis another great store to shop at is Mango. I'm pretty sure they have that store in Spain too. Shopping in Europe is about a billion times more fun than it is here in the U.S. and they dress their kids exquisitely!

   I love that I have a Zara down the street from me in Chicago even if I feel like the one in Chicago is opposed to stocking more than one or two of any size larger than skinny teenager.
