The only sport that I care about (besides the bandwagon ones like Tour de France or The Olympics) is college football. I get really into the football season – I follow recruiting news in the spring, I read stats on the players and I love college game day. Over the years we’ve thrown a couple of Saturday parties and I wanted to share with you my recipe for a successful football party. Read more after the jump.
My recipe for success is to keep it simple. Although fancy decorations and games are nice, they will most likely stress you or someone else out. People are there to watch the game!
Start with drinks – the most important ingredient. I usually keep these and these on hand.
Add ice.
And a big ole tub to put the ice and drinks in.
Get your team pride on with a team shirt.
For food, I only do two things, something salty and something sweet.
How do you throw a football party?
Speaking of football, I don’t envy this equipment managers job.
