High Five a Rainbow

Did you know that triclosan is found in many hand soaps, particularly antibacterial hand washes? Method considers triclosan to be a dirty ingredient and never uses it in any of their products. Similar to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) point of view in this instance, they believe that hands can be thoroughly washed and cleansed with ordinary soap and chemicals. Triclosan is not only unnecessary, it’s a potentially harmful chemical. Read more in this recent New York Times article.

I don’t know about your kids, but my kids get dirty during the summer and I mean dirty. Sometimes all we can do at the end of the day is throw their clothes in the wash and throw them in the bath. I usually add a couple of squirts of Method’s hand wash to the bath because it is a clean product and I don’t have to worry about added chemicals. How do you clean up after your dirty kids?
