Current State of Affairs

Man alive, it is HOT here. Our sorry excuse for a swamp cooler is just that, sorry. Basically we are living on cold drinks + italian ice otter pops, and very couple of hours I spray the kids down with the hose in the yard. So pretty much a perfect summer, right?

   It's been in the mid nineties for the last 3 days where I am and I think it's kind of icky. At night there are no clothes, no blankets, no cuddling, just lying on your side of the bed trying to not die from heat stroke. Luckily, we have lots of otter pops too!! Pink is the best.

   Otter pops have to be better than drugs! I instantly loose five degrees. It's so wonderful.

   no a/c?! and what's an Otter pop? I'm from TX so I've no clue what you're talking about. ha!

   The one positive is that you won't get a $300 electric bill for the month of July. I wish you lived closer, I have 2 window a/c that I would totally give you! If you are ever up North and want'em they're yours! :)

   Boo! Guess I won't be coming around to your house anytime soon. AC is SO not enough to keep a pregnant woman in July cool. Mostly I just stand in front of the refrigerator or close the blinds so I can wear as little clothing as possible.

   i know how you feel! we are finally getting summer here in my beachy southern california and i just LOVE it! quick dips in the pool and ocean keep us refreshed and the fans are on {no ac for us}!
