Bringing it Back to the Old School

Yesterday was the big day. We took Gus in to get his first hair cut. Gus true to form screamed his way through the cut, exactly how I envisioned our salon experience would be.  For obviously style + hip purposes, we went with the euro mullet + Vanilla Ice step combo.

Uncanny, right?

Also, I think that I might have a fashion blogger on my hands. I mean, look, really look at that pose.

   How cute is that hair cut! We tried something like that on our little boy, but his turned out not so cute! I would love to know who cut his hair?

   steve is going to be so mad when i tell him you shaved steps on gus-he begs me to do it to nash every time we cut his hair! i haven't exactly put my foot down on it, but he has yet to bite the bullet. gus totally has the hair and face to pull it off ;) and hattie looks like she's twelve. freaky.

   Your girl is beautiful! And your boys hair cut is awesome! My son screams during his haircuts too. Bad part is, we cut his hair at home with clippers, and outside, so I am sure the neighbors think we are torturing him.

    that haircut is too rad. I am storing this one in my mental file for my boy's first haircut....which I will have to be forced in to, kicking and screaming. he's only 14 months but will probably be in 2nd grade by the time I'm emotionally ready to cut his beautiful locks.
