Reconstruction: Hattie’s Polky Dress

I love this dress + so does Hattie, she insists on wearing it.  I took the sleeves off so she could wear it through the summer + into the fall even, with just a little cardigan.

Can we now talk about how hard it is to get a picture of this girl standing still?  Practically impossible.

Also, maybe I should have ironed the collar a wee bit?

   pretty much every picture of me in a costume or special outfit as a kid had to involve the dining room table or a chair so i couldn't run away.
