We usually hand out hundreds of cups of water to runners but this year we gave hundreds of “high fives”. I got home at 3pm and heard the news. I was relieved to find out all my running friends were safe. I’m jumpy today with sirens, helicopters, and a suspicious package where I work (which wasn’t suspicious after all).
