I just can not get enough of fall this year. I don’t know if it’s just Utah, although it seems country wide, but Mother Nature is killing it, high five old gal! One thing that I’m trying to do this year is make a serious effort to get out with my kids and make memories. I tend to focus on all things business and then fill in my left over time with activities for the kids. This year is the year that I’m committed to do better.

Liz of Say Yes to Hoboken and I were talking about this last week and together we’ve decided to host a #festigram. It’s just simply activity prompts for Instagram. Look through the activities for each week, do one or two or three and then tag the photos of the fall activities so that we can all enjoy and be inspired by one another. If you want to participate, copy the photo below and tag your pictures with #festigramoct so that we can all follow along! It’s like having an advent calender for the whole month. Don’t feel pressure to do each activity, these are just prompts – the idea is to inspire and share, not to stress and compare.

Our household has Olympic fever, we signed up for cable especially for the Olympics and we’ve been trying to take in as many events as we can. It has been fun to see my kids being inspired by the athletes and getting into the Olympic spirit.  They are both wanting to ‘get the gold’, Hattie in princessing and Gus in going fast.
